This is cool. Ironically - this is the sort of thing that other women would love if they heard about and attract them to you - but offcourse you are taken.

I've done similar spur of the moment but only interstate not international. China - that's brave and impressive!

These may not be crazy to most, but are to some:

1. Skydiving (from 14000ft)
2. Paragliding off a mountain in Austria in fog (others were bailing due to the fog). It wasn't so bad really.

Other stuff:

- Drunk at a bar and worming my way in to a group (mobile phone store franchise) who were having a work party. Managed to get them to believe that I owned a franchise too and was given access to the bar tab (via a card). Basically managed to get a few hundred in free alcohol for my friends and I.

- When I was in my early 20's - a few months of having been dumped by a GF of 2 years - I was invited to a work conference at a resort in the Gold Coast. It was a purple patch week where at a dinner at WB Movie World - picked up a waitress and on the same night one of the Directors for some reason brought along his 18yr old daughter who stayed with us at the resort (albeit sharing a room with her father). Needless to say - got into some trouble because she found her way to my hotel room after some wild dirty grinding on the dance floor. Just had to deny deny deny. Good times.

- At 12-13 stupidly put rocks on a train track with some friends. The next train (a freight train) actually shuddered when it went past - the driver saw us and swore like crazy. Very stupid. Very dangerous.

- Drunk and wearing a denim skirt to a hotel bar in Amsterdam in 05. Thankfully all photographic evidence has been erased!! Wild night.

- At 21, driving 150km/hr along windy roads in Tasmania and managing to save a slide which could have resulted in my friend and I flying off a major embankment and to our demise. Absolutely stupid behaviour. A rush yes - but I look back in disgust.

Algren - an extreme high for both. The Skydiving is intense but the free fall happens so quickly. After landing I was on an absolute adrenalin high that lasted a day or two. In fact - I went into a souvenir store soon afterwards and chatted up the girl that worked there. I left and regretted not asking her out. So I looked up the store at an Internet cafe later that day. Called her and asked If she remembered me and she said yes she couldn't forget me because she thought I was high lol. Got two dates with her and a day at the beach

I've also gone whitewater rafting. Pretty insane - especially when falling into the ice cold water. I actually got scared because I struggled to get myself back in the boat. Awesome fun though.

Certainly worth it if you want a good rush.

China is shit for the great outdoor adventures. But that is what I need.

I went out on a bike ride into the desert by myself. Actually fell into a cavern and was trapped by a semi-large boulder. Had to cut part of my arm off.

Good times.

I once went walking into the desert by myself. Found the remains of an arm. Ate it with some chili beans. The beans were delicious, the arm tasted like crap.

Probably didn't have a lot of fat on it. (it didn't)
