I haven't played with Google Trends for awhile, but it can be fun and tell you some things about people you wouldn't have guessed or even thought of, especially since internet searches are usually private.

For example, I came across a link suggesting that 'porn' may be about to beat 'Christmas' as the most searched holiday term for the first time:

(as you can guess, the red is Christmas)
