I guess some of the Broncos bullshit rubbed off on the Pats. :funny:

That shank also just opened up 4-0 for the Pats without Brady. And what's great about this win is that the Pats did it without a lot of their key players. Either everyone overestimated the Cardinals or the Pats are gooooood.

This Patriots dominance could end up hurting Brady in the long run. Can you really be the best ever if any old bum can come into your system and look just as good?

I'd say defending a different type of quarterback is a lot more difficult then preparing for a guy you've seen and faced multiple times before. And New England is simply an organization that preps greatly themselves. I also think a lot of the Patriots are playing for Brady even he's not on the field, there just might not be a better leader in the game. Finallly it's Belichick who enables Brady to be great, without each other they would have won too, but not as much I'd say.

Yes. You can. Easily. Because Brady settled the debate over 2 years ago.

Manziel or Tebow time? They'll still win by 20.

The Patriots don't play many half-assed games. That was one of them.

That was a clear "Let's get out of here without anymore injuries and wait for the GOAT next week" type of effort, especially after the first penalty that brought back the almost touchdown. That doesn't quite explain the mental gaffes (Jones on the returns and Gostowski sucking) or the missed tackles, or Blount being MIA (credit the Bills for stopping a one-dimensional offense). Some atrocious officiating didn't help either. Brissett also missed a couple of guys who were wide open, but that just proves you can't stick any QB in the Patriots system and expect to beat everyone.

It'll be interesting to see how sharp Brady looks next week. It probably helps they're facing the Browns, who even though they've been competitive, probably don't have enough to stop Edelman, Amendola, Gronkowski, and Bennett. It's clear that the Patriots have tried to use Gronkowski as little as possible until Brady comes back because of his injury, and the other here have been intentionally underused since Garoppolo got hurt.

Its sad the Rams turned into a real football team the minute they left St. Louis.

I heard the fans were booing yesterday. Which is so fucking stupid.

It is, but they did pay. I wouldn't be too thrilled if I paid for even the cheapest ticket (and parking) before the season, to ultimately see them take a collective knee. The strategy makes perfect sense when you look at the season as a whole, and that's what matters most, and fans should know that going in, but it is an entertainment industry.

Shit, Carolina sucks this year. It's not like it's terrible, had chances in every game, but it's overall mediocre, especially compared to the tenacity shown last year.

Pats middling defense finally got exposed. The good news is that they don't play another good team again. The bad news is that the defense, as is, is not good enough to win a Super Bowl.

It's weird to say, but the Cowboys are the best team in the NFL right now.

No our defense is not good. Plus we still have rookie QB & RB playing lol.
Seahawks the best in the NFC & Patriots the best in the AFC.

Yeah that's fair. It's amazing how in two weeks the Seahawks went from the middle to the best team in the league.

And as for Prescott, he still hasn't had that shitty rookie game yet. Brady's one and only came in Week 6 against Denver (in Denver). Threw four picks. And still only lost by 11.
