Haha. Because the US is about 83rd on the list of important countries to schedule the games for. ;)

Still, that's better than China, which as the semis at 2am, then the final at 11pm.

Because it's a Sunday. Most people are not working therefore making it a little earlier at 11am US means nothing for you guys but means a lot for loads of other countries with much more combined viewership (China, Australia, Singapore, Malaysia, etc.) than keeping it at 2pm for the US and gaining 1 extra viewer.

This is a true world cup. It has to cater to every country, and some will lose out - being at 11am is actually fine. It's not like your "world series" that features only one country. :P

England will rue their missed chances in the first half. Croatia had dead legs out of the gate and should have gotten buried, but they were the better team once they equalized and a deserving finalist, suffering no loss so far in the tournament. And that England defense, always making amateurish mistake at the most critical moment.

Shame for England, but Croatia played well and deserved the win.

Croatia has played 360min. with one less day rest vs France's 270min. Tough difference, France should be big favorites, but hope Croatia can upset.

Strangely, I kind of want France to win this now. Croatia were needlessly aggressive towards England, and it's changed my mood. France is energetic and professional, as much as I should hate them...I don't.

There will probably be more tears for England when they get beaten by Belgium for third place. They should hold their heads high. They did well. Got further than anyone expected them to.

Rooting for Croatia, but damn I just can't see France losing/ Croatia beating them. France is too strong, will keep the door shut and score at least one goal. Just hoping for an incredible stunt there...maybe not forget that Croatia did beat Argentina 3-0 in the group stage.

But Argentina are shit. Much like Portugal. People think they are amazing because they have Messi and Ronaldo, but football isn't about one player, which is why they got booted out early and "lesser" teams such as Sweden and England progressed. That being said, Croatia are good, but not because they beat Argentina 3-0 earlier in the tournament, because they IN THE WORLD CUP FINAL. But France is taking this. Should be no problem. Deschamps will have two world cups to his name.
