Peter Chiarelli now has the distinction of trading Taylor Hall and Tyler Seguin. Dumbfuck.

And as much as I won't miss Subban against the Bruins, as a hockey fan I'll miss see him playing on a regular basis.

Oilers Sharks is a great series. The young up and comers vs the veterans is always a great matchup and Edmonton's crowd is an event after their 11 year absence as expected

I can't even take pride in that one, everyone knows it'll happen every year except the Caps themselves.

Honestly, I don't think they realize collectively that playoff hockey isn't played better because you finished first in the season. The LA Kings will forever be proof that ranking means nothing once the Cup is in play.

Another problem they (and Ovechkin especially) have is they think every year is their year. Oh, we've made mistakes before, but this year we'll finally do it. No one else is playing with the assumption that it's the Capitals' year.

Anyway, glad to see the Penguins make the conference finals again. Win or lose in the end, this has been a huge year of redemption for Fleury. Not sure if they would have made it without him, despite his usual slip-ups (especially game six). Minor interesting note: the Penguins defeated the Capitals in all four of their Stanley Cup years. Hoping that rings true again.

What an embarrassing win for the Penguins. 37 minutes without a shot on goal. I love Fleury, but he would have died against the Predators. Murray kept them alive.

The Predators have outplayed Penguins for around 70% of this series, if they can tie it up in Game 4 I like their chances

I never realized until this year how many WWE themes hockey arenas use. Though it fits a team in the same state as Memphis
