I hope we have a season next year. The owners are talking about a lockout again. But with all the money they handed out in free agent contracts, they really have no one to blame but themselves.

Re: NHL 2012-13 Season Rick Nash traded to the Rangers for Brandon Dubinsky, Artem Anisimov, Tim Erixon, and a first-round draft pick. Columbus got fleeced and will continue to be terrible for years to come. Rangers probably win the Cup next year.

Re: NHL 2012-13 Season Owners offer players 50-50 and to make up the lost share over the course of the next deal, which would make season start on November 2nd if accepted. IMO lockout is over within the next 10 days. NHL players will not get a better deal than what the NBA players did (50-50) and they should know it. If they wait another month they'll still end up taking 50-50 but with 15-20% of game cheques cancelled.
