Pistons have won 4 of 5, and *should* have won 4 of their first 5 (blew a 8 point lead to NJ with 1:30 left, lost on a last second shot to OKC, blew a 20 pt 3rd quarter lead to Bulls, and lost a big lead late to the Hawks). I've got them at 8-2, and the best team in the East, in my book. But, to be fair my book is full of crazy ramblings.

But, you know what really has pissed me off this year? Lebron has made me a part time Celtics fan, and I hate the Celtics - especially the Celtics without the greatest player ever (Rasheed Wallace).

In the hierarchy of evil NBA teams, I have it like this (from greatest evil to least)

Heat>>Lakers>>>>>>>>>Celtics

It's odd that I hate Lebron more than the rapist, but I just do. The Celtics don't have any rapists or Lebron on their team, so I can almost tolerate them.

When the Celts are playing the Heat, I find myself rooting for KG to call Zyldrunis Ilgolskus a "cancer patient". Luckily my evilness only lasts that one game, but I wonder how terrible it would be to be a full time Boston Celtics fan.

The 90's kind of sucked. Other than that whole decade it's been pretty good.

And the Celtics at this point are kind of hard to root against. To hate the Celtics now would be akin to rooting for an old woman to fall down a flight of stairs - cruel and unnecessary (and without the comical aspect).

Man... Portland should never ever, ever draft a big man again. First they pass on Jordan and now Durant. And what did they get instead? Sam Bowie and Greg Oden. Ouch!

If you told me before this season that at this point Miami would be 1.5 games ahead of 8th place Cleveland and Toronto would be .5 behind 8th at the same time, I would've slapped you

The Celtics and Lakers seem to be 10-11 men deep. The Heat have two good starters and Eddie House. Seven championships are surely on the way.

And who would take Bosh at this point? Nobody wants to help Miami. Especially not by picking up a jump shooter for 110 million dollars.

I'll give them one playoff series win this year (over Atlanta in round 1) and then flameout to Boston.

I still don't think they can match up with Gasol/Bynum. Even Odom/Gasol is the best frontcourt in the NBA. That is until we see how Boozer and Noah play together.

Celtics/Lakers ARE the best two teams in the NBA. And depending on Rondo, Celtics are better than the Lakers.

All the Miami fans will be having a lot of fun when LeBron chokes his way out of the playoffs. That's not even sarcasm. They won't even be at the game because they'll be out partying and being warm all the time. How does Bitch/Wade/Bosh not sell out an arena? It's disgusting. I hope LeBron gets a dildo shoved up his ass while having 'I'm a sadist pig and a rapist' tattooed on his chest.

Really disappointed in the Cavs players. I thought for sure that one of them would have laid Lebron out last night. I kept waiting for it to happen, but they looked so "buddy-buddy" with him.

This is going to be a long and painful NBA season. All my illusions I had that the Pistons were any good are completely gone now. The only joy I'll have left is rooting for anybody and everybody to beat the Heat, and sadly I'm worried that's going to happen less and less as the season goes on...

First big trade of the year

Magic trade Carter, Pietrus, Gortat, and a pick to Suns for Richardson, Hedo, and Earl Clark.

And are also talking about trading Lewis for Arenas.

I like the first part, but not the second so much. When you lose a headcase like Vince Carter you don't want to immediately pick up another one.

Boy. Can't believe Boston blew that game today. Turned it off in the 4th quarter as the game was getting boring. Boston leading by 7 to 10 most of the game.

And Howard sucking.
