It looks like we will see a new number 1 movie this week. Look for Contagion to open with about 24.2M this weekend in the top spot. At number 2 this weekend contuniing it's very good holds for another 11.3M is The Help. Opening at 3 is the Warrior for 8.1M. At number 4 dropping two spots is The Debt for 5.7M. At number 5 will the Colombiana for 4.2M. At number 6 will be Rise Of The Planet Of The Apes for 4M. At 7 and 8 will Apollo 18 & Our Idiot Brother for about 3.3M each. At number 9 taking a big drop is Shark Night for 2.8. At number 10 will be a close race between 4 Movies Spy Kids 4, The Smurfs, Crazy Stupid Love and Don't Be Afraid of the Dark., I say number 10 will be Don't Be Afraid Of The Dark. The other two wide openers will miss the top ten by a mile. Bucky Larson with such weak BOM polls, weaker than polls for The Solomon Brothers (Opened at 509K) and Virginty Hit (opened at 302K), but since Bucky Larson is opening more theaters than either I say an opening around 600K. The other opener is Creature an 3-rate horror movie which was only annouced opening wide in the past week, eventhough it is opening in more theaters than Bucky Larson I am predicting the Creature to open just a little lower at around 500K.
